Job Summary

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Evening Shift Travel Contract
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Shift: Evening; 40 hrs/week rotating evenings every other weekend occasional holidays
Travel Rate: $2051.50 per week

Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nursefor an exciting Travel job in Falmouth MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct daily functions of nursing assistants in compliance with LTC regulations
Complete and maintain documentation for admissions transfers and discharges
Administer medications accurately chart and transcribe physician orders
Participate in orientation planning for new residents and families
Collect and label patient samples; perform labs and vital signs
Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights
Coordinate stocking of medications supplies and equipment
Perform clinical procedures including catheterization tube feeding suction and dressing changes
Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff and residents
Support infection control facility surveys and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Nursing degree from an accredited college/university or completion of an approved LPN program
Current active unencumbered MA LPN license
BLS / CPR and AED certification
2 years clinical experience preferred; long-term care experience highly valued
Strong communication organizational leadership and supervisory skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical/sensory requirements
