The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Ashburn VA.

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Western region seeks an experienced board certified/eligible non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in Ashburn VA with inpatient rounding at our Inova Loudoun Hospital. This role will also see patients at Inova Fairfax Hospital and the ICPH location (seeing patients as DOD/ROD preceptor) This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inovas cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at those locations.

The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical care to Inova Health System patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This role will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive medical exams making diagnoses developing treatment plans and providing education and guidance to patients on disease prevention and management.

Inova Non-Invasive Program Highlights:

Inpatient Coverage:Inova Loudoun Hospital with APP coverage

Opportunities tocover inpatient CCU and echo services at Fairfax hospital

Outpatient Imaging responsibilities: 2-3 reading days a month 15-20 echos and 5 nuclear studies per day

Call: approximately 10 weekends per year and 2-3 weeknight call coverages per month

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in XXX.
• Experience:successful completion of XXX residency program.
• Licensure:Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
