GE HealthCare Haifa Ultrasound group is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Install Base (IB) this role you will contribute to maintaining and enhancing existing ultrasound systems used by healthcare professionals worldwide. Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and improve software for existing ultrasound products.
- Implement bug fixes performance improvements and minor feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Participate in code reviews testing and troubleshooting.
- Learn and apply best practices in software engineering and medical device development.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
- . in Computer Science or Software Engineeringfrom a well-regarded institution.
- 05 years of experiencein software development.
- Strong programming skills inCand/orC#.
- Good understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP)principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience withWindows developmentand multithreaded programming.
- Familiarity withWPFor other UI frameworks.
- Knowledge ofmedical imaging standards(DICOM HL7).
- Exposure toAgile methodologies(Scrum/Kanban).
- Interest insoftware quality and testing practices.
