Overview

The Director of Ancillary Services supports the Vice President of Operations in the overall planning development and effective delivery of services across multiple departments including Environmental Services (EVS) Food and Nutrition Services Therapy Services Volunteers Public Safety Gift Shop Residency Program and other assigned business support functions.

Responsibilities

This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality efficient and patient-centered services. Responsibilities include oversight of human resource management fiscal accountability operational excellence and the cultivation of engaged and professional teams. The Director plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement fostering innovation and aligning departmental operations with UPHs mission vision values and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related field required
  • Masters degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or related discipline preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or support services required
  • Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and leading cross-functional initiatives required
  • Experience in leading within a healthcare setting preferred
