Job Summary
**This position would work Fridays from 3pm-6pm. The person hired may choose to be on-call for our other after school shifts (Monday through Thursday 3pm-6pm) but that is not required**Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School seeks a nurse to staff our after school program and:- Care for sick and injured students and faculty dismiss ill or injured students as appropriate- Work to create and maintain an educational environment that is safe for each student considering their medical diagnosis- Administer prescribed medications and treatments- Document care provided- Collaborate with parents and school staff regarding student health issues as they arise. This may include issues related to illness injury health promotion accident or illness prevention or other issues relevant to the scope of nursing practice in a school- Perform other duties as assigned as appropriate for RN licensureBFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
