Primary Responsibilities:

As a Wealth Management Principal you will serve our clients with a range of financial planning services which require the following responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues to manage a client load of 75-80 clients

  • Provide exceptional responsive service portfolio management and advice to all clients

  • Maintain a disciplined and organized approach to managing numerous client activities and tasks

  • Manage and mentor Associates and Senior Associates

  • Build strong long-term client relationships. You will work with clients to analyze their current financial health help set short/long-term financial goals and design a realistic plan of action. You will proactively provide the following:

    • Coordination of client meetings including materials agenda and post-meeting action item follow-up

    • Answers to clients questions with superior service front of mind always

    • Financial planning using e-Money

    • Trade recommendations and portfolio management

  • Achieve annually established goals to obtain client referrals develop relationships with centers of influence and develop new business in a rainmaking or closing role.

  • Demonstrate professional ethical and courteous conduct in responsibilities and dealings with clients prospects COIs colleagues and other entities with which Cerity Partners has a relationship. This includes compliance with legal professional and established firm standards of conduct.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 7-10 years of professional work experience ideally with 3 years financial planning or related

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFP designation

  • Working knowledge of e-Money Salesforce and Excel

  • Ability to listen and empathize with clients spot and analyze issues and simplify/explain financial concepts

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
