Stage Ingénieur Prise en main de la Sécurité Fonctionnelle et les Modeles IA FM

Contexte

Le département central de sûreté de fonctionnement basé à Toulouse en charge de la sûreté de fonctionnement des composants NXP Hardware et Software recherche un stagiaire de 5ème année sur une durée de 6 mois afin de travailler sur lanalyse de sûreté fonctionnelle dans le cas des défaillances sur des algorithmes de Machine Learning et/ou utiliser le Machine Learning pour détecter des défaillances sur des supports matériels.

Laugmentation du nombre de fonctions avancées et la perspective de véhicules autonomes renforce le besoin de systèmes qui utilisent de lintelligence artificiel. Cela implique le besoin de robustesse et de la sureté fonctionnelle du support hardware qui exécute lintelligence plus laspect sûreté de fonctionnement impose de garantir une intégrité jusquà ASILD (standard automobile ISO26262).

Vos missions

Le(a) stagiaire prendra en charge/réalisera une ou plusieurs des missions suivantes:

• Entrainer un modèle pour la détection de fautes avec des données disponibles
• Prendre en main un modèle déjà entrainé; loptimiser pour une cible NXP et lexécuter dans la cible
• Exécuter des analyses de sûreté fonctionnel sur des algorithmes de Machine Learning
• Démontrer la véracité des analyses en utilisant de méthodes dinjection des fautes logiciel.

Votre profil

• Niveau détudes : Bac 5 dernière année décole dingénieur électronique ou informatique avec un profil en systèmes embarqués ou Machine Learning ou numérique
• Connaissances en C/C embarqué (étendues)
• Connaissances en SysML et/ou UML (étendues)
• Connaissances en Machine Learning (étendues)
• Connaissance élémentaire darchitecture digital
• Connaissances de base sur les méthodes dacceptabilité explicabilité interprétabilité et certification de lIA (apprécié)
• Connaissances de la Sûreté Fonctionnel (apprécié)
• Un bon niveau danglais est exigé.

Engineering Internship: Hands-on functional safety and AI models

Context

The central Functional Safety department based in Toulouse responsible for the functional safety of NXP Hardware and Software components is searching for a candidate to perform a 6 months internship to work on Functional Safety Analysis for safety-relevant systems implemented using Machine Learning models and/or using Machine Learning models to identify safety-relevant faults.

The increasing number of advanced driving functions and the future perspective of autonomous vehicles strengthen the need of Machine Learning. There is an increased focus on ensuring that the hardware in which AI runs is robust and does not introduce faults into the functions. Functional safety is an emerging topic with regards to AI in which the required ASIL will likely be D. (automotive standard ISO26262).

Your responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for/perform one or more of the following tasks :

• Train a model to detect faults using existing data
• Using a pre-trained model optimize it for an NXP target and deploy it.
• Execute functional safety analyses on existing Machine Learning algorithm
• Prove the effectiveness of the obtained results using Software fault injection techniques

Your profile

• Last year of Engineering school (M2) in electronics embedded systems digital design and/or Machine Learning etc.
• Working knowledge of C/C for embedded systems
• Working knowledge of SysML and/or UML
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning
• Basic knowledge of digital architecture
• Some knowledge on methods of AI acceptability explainability interpretability and/or certification is a plus
• Some knowledge of Functional Safety is a plus.
• Most of the work will be done in English; A good level is required working in an international multi-site team.
