The Clinical Resource Manager (Registered Nurse) at Heartwood Lodge plays a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality resident care through clinical oversight staff development and resource coordination. This leadership position supports the nursing team by optimizing clinical workflows ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of excellence in long-term care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight & Support

    • Serve as a clinical expert and resource for nursing staff across all shifts.

    • Monitor and evaluate resident care plans and outcomes.

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.

  • Staff Development & Education

    • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to nursing staff.

    • Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical employees.

    • Identify educational needs and coordinate in-service training sessions.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance

    • Assist with audits incident reviews and performance improvement initiatives.

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including CMS guidelines.

    • Participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) programs.

  • Resource Management

    • Coordinate clinical supplies and equipment to support efficient care delivery.

    • Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling to maintain coverage and continuity.

  • Resident & Family Engagement

    • Act as a liaison between residents families and the care team.

    • Address concerns and facilitate communication to enhance satisfaction and trust.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the State of Michigan (required).

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of MDS care planning and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
