A&P Mechanic Elliott Aviation (Moline IL)
Location: Moline Illinois
Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate potential overtime
Schedule: Full-time Day or Night Shift
Overview:
Elliott Aviation a leading business aviation services company is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to join our Moline IL team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility supporting a variety of corporate and private aircraft. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented safety-driven and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in aircraft maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections repairs and modifications on turbine piston and jet aircraft.
Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems using approved technical data.
Remove install and service major components such as engines landing gear and flight control systems.
Perform functional checks and operational tests to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with FAA and company policies.
Work closely with inspectors leads and team members to maintain workflow efficiency and quality.
Ensure compliance with all safety environmental and regulatory procedures.
Requirements:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
Minimum of 23 years of experience performing maintenance on corporate or general aviation aircraft (Citation King Air Hawker Beechjet or similar experience preferred).
Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Must have your own tools and be able to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Commitment to quality workmanship and a team-oriented attitude.
