Night Shift (Hours: 7p-7a) Holidays and Weekends - per the department guidelines.

Christiana Care Hospital in Newark is currently seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the 4A Medical Unit.

The 4A Medical Unit is a 20-bed long-stay unit that provides round-the-clock medical care. This unit accommodates patients who are awaiting long-term placement or have complex discharge needs.

Our patient population consists of adults aged 18 and older and their conditions are generally stable. Patients are typically received and transferred from medical or surgical inpatient floors.

Education and Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Eligible to be licensed in the State of Delaware.
• Previous inpatient experience is a plus.
• BLS required.
• Per the offer of employment letter a signed commitment upon hire to obtain an RN license and then a subsequent BSN degree within the defined time frame.
