Job Summary Details:

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to address tenant reactive / requested repairs and services and basic preventative maintenance work orders while maintaining a safe environment for building occupants.

Pay: $16.00/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Electrical

Walk facility and replace lightbulbs and ceiling tilesasneeded.
Report light ballast issues to engineering.
Troubleshoot appliances and other equipment.

Plumbing

Unclog drains with plunger or drain snake.
Locate and close isolation valves for emergencies.

Carpentry and Locks

Install shelves soap dispensers and other fixtures.
Perform simple woodworking repairs.
Hang clocks pictures bulletin boards coat hooks etc.

Miscellaneous

Knowledge of computers work order systems and ability to read reports.
Be able to communicate and respond to tenant requests as instructed.
Complete assigned maintenance work orders in accordance to customer and management timelines and expectations.
Ability to lift 50lbs climb on ladders and work in confined spaces.
Musthave the ability tocomplete required safetyclassesthatpertain tospecific jobduties.
Mayperformotherdutiesasassigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years of age or older
1 year of experience in related role
Valid Drivers License
Customer Service experience preferred
