The Senior Principal SEIT Engineer will have deep expertise in laboratory technology development and system testing to lead the integration and validation of complex lab-based test environments centered around multi sensor GNSS navigation systems operating within a contested RF environment.
This role requires a forward-leaning technical leader who works with subject matter experts to develop modeling and simulation environments and then architect and evolve multi-domain test labs supporting high-fidelity development verification and operational simulations of advanced systems.

What You Will Do:
Collect test data and identify system failure modes on prototype guidance navigation and control systems.
Work across disciplines to architect testbeds and labs for systems integration software/hardware-in-the-loop testing and automated test solutions.
Lead the architecture design and development of test labs for integration and system verification of complex aerospace or defense systems.
Serve as the technical authority for lab development including definition of lab infrastructure instrumentation interfaces control systems and automation frameworks.
Drive testbed integration efforts combining hardware software and simulation environments
Support system-level integration verification and validation (IV&V) in lab environments including test procedure development and execution.
Collaborate across systems software hardware and test engineering teams to define lab requirements and ensure technical alignment.
Define SEIT strategy and roadmaps for lab capabilities to support rapid prototyping system-level testing and formal qualification.
Travel up to 25%
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Typically requires 10 years of experience in testing and integration of GNSS/GPS systems with a strong focus on lab/testbed development.
Strong foundation in systems engineering lab infrastructure and instrumentation.
Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) software-in-the-loop (SIL) and/or flight/mission simulators.
Strong knowledge of system-level testing practices and integration workflows.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical efforts with minimal oversight.
Familiarity with tools such as LabVIEW MATLAB/Simulink Python NI TestStand and automated test frameworks.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or related field; Masters degree preferred.
Experience with GNSS constellation scenario development within an RF contested environment strongly preferred.
Experience with DoD or aerospace systems testing.
Familiarity with test range integration RF test environments or GNSS chamber labs.
Existing Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance (within the last 24 months)

The salary range for this role is 137000 USD - 275000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
