Acutronic is looking for a Test Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin this role you will assist in the Test Engineers in the testing and validation of micro gas turbine engines. This role will provide you with the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to exciting projects.

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Record and document data and results of all testing performed
Collaborate with applicable engineers to define acceptance criteria and limits
Monitor production controls and measures for existing and new products
Execute testing and validation/qualification of products per the defined procedures
Create and maintain appropriate documentation including but not limited to: traceability materials/certifications workflows and quality records

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field with at least two years completed at an accredited college or university
Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering courses
Basic understanding of engineering principles and testing methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work on own initiative as well as participate as part of a team
Multi-tasking ability

We offer standard products and excel at designing highly customized solutions for demanding mission requirements.
