Job Summary
As a Wireless Software Ecosystem Engineer youll be part of a fast-paced and collaborative team that ensures Apples wireless technologies deliver the seamless reliable experiences our customers expect. Youll help qualify cutting-edge features across the latest iPhone iPad Apple Watch Apple TV and macOS product linesbringing innovation to life in the hands of this role youll drive testing strategies solve complex challenges and partner closely with cross-functional teams to uphold Apples world-class quality standards. Were looking for someone who is passionate about wireless technologies committed to excellence and motivated by creating products that put the user experience at the center.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Testing Development experiences in scripting languages such as Python or Objective-C
- Experience in WiFi/BT or Thread/Zigbee (802.15.4) Functional or Performance Testing
- Good Understanding and working knowledge of WiFi /BT/Thread/Zigbee (802.15.4) protocols
- Experience in IoT domain & Home automation on 802.15.4 Thread. Zigbee BLE WiFi low power a plus
- Experience in debugging wireless sniffers protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues (like WireShark Ellisys Protocol Analysis etc)
- Excellent problem-solving critical thinking and communication skills.
- Upbeat adaptable with a positive can-do attitude.
- Outstanding communication skills vital to collaborate with multi-functional teams
