The mission for the role:
At Popsa creativity drives growthand were scaling fast. With over 6 million customers and growing our creative team plays a pivotal role in building meaningful connections with audiences and bringing our brand to life across every looking for an experienced customer-focused freelance native French speaker. As a specialist freelancer you will support our marketing and creative teams in localisation for the French market through audits translations and original creative messaging to use in our advertising blog and wider marketing projects. You will need to have commercial experience adapting text for cultural relevance (transcreation) through a variety of channels. and ensure accurate and timely communication upholding Popsas brand tone of voice.
Key projects
- French Translation / transcreation of all blog articles acquisition video scripts and marketing assets from English to French ensuring the meaning and cultural context are retained and adapted for the French market
- Review and translate key email journeys keeping the customer at the heart of the content
- Translation / transcreation of landing pages - develop French-language website content and edit existing content to align with Popsas brand voice and local market needs
- Proofreading high priority marketing assets - Review and proofread translations to ensure accuracy clarity and adherence to style guides
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Native or near-native fluency in both French and English
- Deep knowledge of French language culture and societal nuances to effectively adapt content for our customers
- Commercial DTC experience
- Technical SEO experience to ensure transcreated content ranks well in search results for FR target markets and audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to adjust to different communication styles and platforms from video scripts to blog articles
