About the job:

Based in Brussels Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATOs Digital Endeavour. You will responsible for the delivery and day-to-day operations of multiple IT services to customers in remote NATO locations.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Engineer (Digital Infrastructure) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

Responsible for the onsite IT Support at remote NATO offices.
Provides IT logistic support.
Supports and coordinate Cryptographic activities.
Provides support for network equipment.
Implements and follow up security policies and protocols to protect information according to NATO rules and regulations.
Manages service-based contracts associated with the remote site evaluate vendor performance and assist in renewing contracts.
Periodically provides on demand support outside of business hours that could require working on site.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

A Bachelors degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Or a different educational qualification with 6 years extensive and progressive expertise post related experience.
Minimum of 1-year experience providing IT support in conflict zones.
Up-to-date certificate of attendance of hostile environment awareness training.
Experience supporting end user equipment including iPhones and Windows laptops
Experience supporting Microsoft 365
Experience supporting Cisco switches and wireless access points
Experience performing Cryptographic activities
Communication with all level of users including VIPs (minimum of 1-year experience).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented attitude.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
