Job Summary
Area of Contribution:
The role may include the following tasks
and functions/ duties and responsibilities but are not limited to:
To adhere to line manager work instructions and special work
assignments if they are work related and safe to perform
To comply and adhere to Human Resource ICT HSSE and Operations
policies procedures rules and regulations
To comply and abide by the companys code of business conduct
ethics and core values
Maintain professionalism and quality approach throughout the
interaction with internal/external customer
Fill out pre-operational equipment check list
Work in a diligent way maintaining cleanliness and respect to others
Accurately identify the type of cargo being discharged loaded
delivered or received according to the bill of lading manifest marks
and number packing list stowage plan or any related shipping
document
Identify and register all the damages of cargo being handled
Verify and reconcile shipping documents and manifest with actual
counts
Report to the supervisor any unusual situation or discrepancy in the
documents or actual counts
Consolidate the discharge tally sheets and prepare end of the shift
report
Respond promptly to any operational issue or emergency by providing
necessary support.
