Job Summary
An established Outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary School in Brent North West London renowned for its supportive ECT induction program and exceptional science results is seeking an ECT of Chemistry to join their permanent full-time faculty starting January 2026.
Compensation & Contract
- Job Title: ECT of Chemistry
- Contract: Permanent Full-Time
- Start Date: January 2026
- Salary: Paid on the Inner/Outer London Teachers Pay Scales (M1) commensurate with statutory allowances.
The Role
- The successful ECT of Chemistry will teach KS3 Science and Chemistry up to GCSE delivering engaging high-quality lessons.
- The ECT of Chemistry will receive a dedicated mentor and fully participate in the schools excellent professional development program.
- This role offers a statutory reduced timetable ensuring the ECT of Chemistry has ample non-contact time for planning and training.
- We expect the ECT of Chemistry to contribute positively to the Science department and wider school life.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) expected by January 2026 or currently undergoing training.
