Job Summary
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Exeter Devon is looking to appoint a creative and dedicated Art ECT to join their dynamic Visual Arts Department from January 2026.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to support GCSE and A-Level coursework. The department encourages diverse artistic expression including fine art sculpture digital media and photography.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that foster creativity and artistic skills.
Guide students through practical and theoretical aspects of Art and Design.
Manage classroom resources effectively ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Encourage student participation in art exhibitions and competitions.
Contribute to cross-curricular creative initiatives and community art projects.

Experience and Qualifications
Art ECT or Qualified Art Teacher (QTS/PGCE).
Degree in Fine Art Art & Design or a related field.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
