Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging high-quality teaching to a Year 1 class in line with the National Curriculum
- Take on middle leadership responsibilities contributing to curriculum development or leading a key subject area
- Support and mentor colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across Key Stage 1
- Use effective assessment to monitor and enhance pupil progress and attainment
- Foster a positive inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where all pupils thrive
- Build strong relationships with pupils parents and colleagues to ensure consistent support for learning and wellbeing
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school including staff meetings events and professional development
