Evac is now looking for a Spare Part Buyer to strengthen our procurement this role youll play a key part in ensuring smooth material availability and strong supplier performance. Your focus on operational excellence will help secure on-time deliveries and uphold high standards throughout our purchasing process.
Collaboration is at the heart of our success. Youll work closely with Customer Service and other internal stakeholders ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service. Your expertise will be essential in managing customer enquiries balancing material availability and cost efficiency with precision and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute spare parts purchases and related services ensuring the lowest total cost
- Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness and create purchase orders (MRP)
- Monitor delivery confirmations and actual deliveries from suppliers
- Ensure on-time delivery and availability of spare parts from designated suppliers
- Maintain and optimize inventory parameters to secure the right stock levels
- Contribute to new item creation and maintain item master data
Key requirements
- A few years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Moderate technical understanding of spare parts and supplier processes
- Proven track record in improving delivery performance reducing lead times and optimizing inventory
- Strong communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
