Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
Were seeking a high-impact Infrastructure Engineera true expert across the infrastructure spectrumwho thrives on automation modernization and operational excellence. This role will take ownership of designing managing and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments (AWS Azure). Youll play a key part in automating manual workflows enhancing system reliability and driving continuous improvement across the organizations IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Infrastructure Modernization
Review existing automation scripts and develop or refine new ones to streamline operations and eliminate manual tasks.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to provision configure and manage infrastructure efficiently.
Identify automation opportunities that drive performance reliability and operational scalability.
Cloud & Core Infrastructure Management
Manage and support multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure including compute networking storage IAM and monitoring.
Maintain and troubleshoot core systems: Active Directory VMware Windows Server OS Intune (Modern Workspace) and M365.
Design and implement security standards and compliance configurations (e.g. cluster policies Key Vault audit logging).
Participate in incident problem and change management processes for infrastructure components.
Operational Excellence & Reliability
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring or high-impact incidents to ensure long-term stability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with development DevOps application support and security teams to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed.
Ensure strong documentation practices and adherence to compliance requirements.
Customer Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide responsive customer-focused technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
Continuously assess the infrastructure landscape to identify opportunities for modernization performance tuning and cost optimization.
Champion best practices in system reliability automation and operational resilience.

Expertise in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell Terraform and Ansible.

Deep hands-on experience with Active Directory VMware Windows Server InTune (Modern Workspace) Azure and AWS.
Proven troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities in complex enterprise environments.

Skilled in performing root cause analysis managing incident/problem/change processes and designing secure compliant systems.
Demonstrated ability to maintain reliability and resilience across systemseven those not originally built by you.
Qualifications & Experience
5 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or operations.
Strong background in multi-cloud platform management (Azure and AWS).
Proficiency with automation and IaC technologies (Terraform Ansible PowerShell).
Proven ability to solve complex IT problems related to automation migration cloud optimization and virtualization.
Strong communication and documentation skills with a collaborative and proactive work style.
