As the Rentals Superintendent you plan and execute the refurbishment of rental buildings within budget and quality standards manage timely delivery and collection to/from clients and lead the refurbishment team in line with statutory and internal operating procedures.
Responsibilities include
- Plan coordinate and oversee refurbishment rebuilding and warranty activities to ensure rental units are completed on time within budget and to quality standards.
- Manage delivery and collection of units maintaining accurate documentation and efficient turnaround times.
- Monitor operational performance report on progress and drive continuous process improvements.
- Oversee stores and inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels prevent shortages and safeguard asset integrity through accurate ERP updates and regular counts.
- Identify redundant or at-risk stock and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and health and safety regulations including PPE control housekeeping and regular inspections of tools vehicles and materials.
- Lead train and support team members to achieve performance goals maintaining discipline attendance and a safe productive work environment.
- Prepare and submit required operational reports accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential; Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Manufacturing advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience including formal training.
- Strong background in refurbishment construction and use of hand tools.
