Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) for 3rd Shift MFG Maintenance Mechanic III:
- Work a direct hire third-shift schedule: Sunday night through Friday morning approximately 10:30 pm to 6:30 am.
- Diagnose repair maintain and support equipment on aerosol and hair care packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality.
- Perform equipment changeovers set-ups installations adjustments and line alterations as needed for production schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine downtime events using root cause analysis techniques.
- Utilize advanced skills in electro-mechanical equipment repair including motors pneumatics hydraulics conveyors PLCs bearings shafts and liquid filling equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance identifying and correcting mechanical/electrical issues during the process.
- Use CMMS and MES data to analyze and solve complex equipment problems.
- Assist with equipment installations and fabrication/repair of parts as needed.
- Support and train team members in basic maintenance and adjustments.
- Operate forklift trucks for equipment or material movement.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards for lifting and workplace safety.
- Work involves standing walking and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly (occasionally over 60 lbs).
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical/military training preferred.
- 7 years of mechanical experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate initiative motivation and strong communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
