Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons anesthesiologists and registered nurses in all aspects of surgical procedures to ensure a safe efficient and sterile operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments equipment and sterile supplies.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of instruments before and after surgeries.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
- Assist with patient preparation and transport to and from the operating room.
- Adhere to all infection control safety and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 2 years of experience in a surgical or hospital setting preferred
