Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Telemetry Medical-Surgical Unit. As an RN you will provide high-quality patient-centered care aligned with nursing best practices and the standards of care for cardiac telemetry and med-surg patients. Youll collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe effective and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments upon patient admission and throughout scheduled shifts.
- Monitor patient conditions identify changes and promptly report findings to the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic or adverse effects.
- Carry out provider-ordered treatments procedures and monitoring responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the medical record.
- Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs and requests.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on conditions medications treatment plans and post-discharge care in understandable language.
- Advocate for patients and ensure their dignity comfort and safety throughout their stay.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (required).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 4 years (required).
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or higher).
- Certifications (Required):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
