Job Summary

IN-PERSON INTERVIEW

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Azure Architect will be advising agency on architecture and security concerns associated with Azure including in-place migrations/refactoring.

Architect will need to make recommendations on lift and shift and on-premise to cloud native migrations.

Architect will need to make recommendations with refactoring within Azure environment.

Architect will need to conduct testing within Azure to show minimal viable product of an architecture.

Architect will make configurations to Azure in support of agency-level objectives. Configurations will be primarily to Azure-based services.

Knowledge of availability options. Demonstrated experience architecting solutions that meet RPO and RTO objectives in Azure.	Required
Effective documentation writing. Candidate should be able to write professional documentation including position papers architecture documentation a	Required
Experience in managing cloud-based security posture activities including vulnerability remediation perimeter defense architecture encryption in tran	Required
Knowledge and experience in DevOps including Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.	Required
Knowledge and experience in data storage products like SQL Server Oracle. Knowledge of non-relational data storage products like Cosmos DB.	Required
Experience as a on-premise architect 5 years	Required
Strong communication skills. Candidate should be able to effectively communicate with technical and business staff.	Required
