Job Summary
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 7 years of experience in design coordination and value engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques materials and cost factors.
- Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD SketchUp and BIM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects MEP engineers and contractors to integrate structural systems into overall project design
- Analyze structural systems and components to identify opportunities for cost savings improved constructability and material efficiency
- Value engineering & cost optimization in design quantities for architectural structural MEP landscape & interior design
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure structural compatibility.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Attend and lead coordination meetings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes standards and project specifications.
- Propose alternative design solutions to reduce construction costs or time.
- Prepare & updating detail project drawing requirement sheet. Progress monitoring through tracker.
- Ensure correct drawing availability on site and office
- Design and project explaination/ education meeting with project/site team.
