Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Developer to design develop and implement solutions across Atlassian Cloud products including Jira Software Jira Service Management Jira Align Jira Analytics and Confluence.
• This role will also focus on leveraging ROVO AI Atlassian s intelligent automation platform to build and optimize AI-powered workflows for ITSM DevOps and knowledge management use cases.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Atlassian REST APIs scripting automation (A4J) and app/plugin development.
• Experience with ROVO AI agents integrations and custom actions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Atlassian Cloud Development & Configuration Design develop and maintain custom configurations and workflows in Jira Software Jira Service Management Jira Align Jira Analytics and Confluence Cloud. Build and optimize Jira workflows request types issue types permission schemes dashboards and Confluence spaces.
• Develop custom solutions using Automation for Jira (A4J) REST APIs and scripting. ROVO AI Development & Integration Design and implement ROVO AI agents (OOTB and custom) for Jira and Confluence to enhance automation knowledge management and DevOps processes.
• Develop custom ROVO actions workflows and connectors to integrate with Atlassian tools and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design intelligent workflows using ROVO and A4J. Scripting Integration & Automation Develop automation scripts using Python Bash Groovy (Script Runner) or PowerShell to perform bulk operations and advanced customizations. Integrate Atlassian Cloud tools with external platforms using REST APIs webhooks and custom connectors.
• Develop test and deploy Marketplace apps or custom plugins as needed. Documentation & Collaboration Create and maintain technical documentation playbooks and SOPs in Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product DevOps and ITSM to deliver scalable Atlassian-based solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong development experience with Atlassian Cloud products: Jira Software JSM Jira Align Confluence and Jira Analytics.
• Proficiency in Automation for Jira (A4J) Atlassian REST APIs and Admin APIs.
• Hands-on experience with ROVO AI including custom agent development actions and platform integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or Groovy (Script Runner).
• Experience building and integrating Marketplace apps or custom plugins. Strong problem-solving skills and an automation-first mindset.
• Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with GitLab CI/CD or other DevOps tools. Familiarity with Entra ID/SSO for user provisioning.
• Knowledge of ITSM and DevOps best practices in an enterprise environment.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing solutions within Atlassian Cloud tools.
