Role: Solution Architect- .Net and Property & Casualty

Location: Warren NJ- Hybrid

Duration: Long-term Contract

Description:
Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing developing and implementing robust solutions aligned with our business needs. This individual must possess deep technical knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable high-performance -depth knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain including underwriting policy administration claims processing and billing.

Day to Day job Duties:
Design and implement robust scalable and secure solutions tailored to insurance/reinsurance workflows such as underwriting claims processing policy administration and risk modeling.
Guide teams in best practices for software architecture ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Research and recommend emerging technologies that align with business needs.
Mentor technical teams and review their deliverables for compliance with architectural standards.
Design integration workflows using Web Methods and other integration tools.
Define architecture blueprints and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory frameworks.
Leverage microservices and event-driven architecture to support modular and extensible system design.
Integrate with third-party platforms such as policy administration systems reinsurer portals and data feeds.
Architect cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure API Management Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
Define CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated testing strategies to ensure high availability and resilience.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanism

Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience in software development and architecture with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.
Strong hands-on experience Core C# JavaScript/TypeScript React JS/ Angular .
Strong Experience in Azure cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.
Knowledge and hands on experience in designing AI based solutions
Experience in the P&C insurance or reinsurance domain is required.
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:
BI Tools: Experience with reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Machine Learning (ML): Understanding of NLP and other machine learning techniques.
DBT: Experience with Data Build Tool (DBT)
