Job Summary

Job Title: Scrum Master (with P&C Insurance domain)

Job Location: Erie PA or Piscataway NJ Onsite from Day 1

Duration: Long Term contract

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Support the team in following Agile practices and principles fostering self-organization and accountability.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
Identify and remove obstacles that impede the teams progress and work to ensure the team remains focused on achieving sprint goals.
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles promoting continuous improvement and growth.
Ensure clear and open communication within the Scrum team and with external stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
Help the team maintain a sustainable pace of work and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Foster a collaborative supportive and productive team environment.
Promote a culture of transparency feedback and continuous learning within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong Experience in P&C Insurance domain and Guidewire Product.
Strong knowledge of Scrum Kanban and other Agile methodologies.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is highly preferred.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Excellent facilitation coaching and mentoring skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on removing impediments and fostering self-organization.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA Confluence Trello or similar.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
MUST HAVE: P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance domain
