Job Description: Digital Integration Senior SAP CPI Engineer (P3)

The SAP BTP CPI - Integration Suite developer is responsible for analyzing the integration requirements Build the technical designs and implement the code in the SAP BTP Integration Suite/SAP CPIAPI. The developer is responsible for following clients best practices adhering to governance and ensuring the quality of their deliverables.
Key Accountabilities
Works closely with Integration Architects to understand business requirements and interface design to deliver according to specifications
Design build and configure integrations in SAP CPI as per the business process integration requirements.
Well experienced with protocols like IDOC HTTPS REST SFTP JDBC etc.
Experienced working with OAuth SAML Certificate based authentication for Interfaces.
Experience working with Open Connectors.
Proficiency in Groovy and Java Scripts and embed the code into CPI Iflows.
Knowledge of developing Odata Services and Value Mappings in SAP CPI.
Experience on SAP API Management and APIfy the SAP CPI Iflows.
Experience in developing API Proxies Apply the API Policies and Optimize the API usage in SAP API Management.
Experience working on integration configurations SAP ABAP systems.
Experience in S4HANA ABAP coding debug ABAP based programs related to interfaces.
Adheres to governance and best practices when developing solutions and is receptive to feedback during design and code reviews
Prepares the Technical Design documents Unit test cases as per the client Naming conventions and standards.
Collaborate the Source and target teams to perform the End-to-End System integration testing Support the Business users in the UAT Fix the bugs Prepare the Regression and Performance test cases for the Interfaces as per Business requirements.
Process knowledge on the OTC P2P M2D FI Functional areas.
Reports to manager any blockers that could impede timely delivery of solutions per agreed project/Sprint timelines
Ability to occasionally flex work schedule to collaborate with other team members in different regions and time zones.
Key Qualifications and Experiences
Bachelors degree with 5-7 years overall relevant professional experience in Software Development
3 years of technical experience with the SAP Integration Suite including
SAP CPI with strong expertise on Groovy Scripts and Open Connectors.
SAP API Management
SAP BTP Event mesh
Knowledge of the Forward/ Reverse Proxy and various protocols.
Cloud Connector
Open Connectors
Knowledge on the SAPABAP configurations related to Integration SOAMANAGER RFC HTTP Event Enablement etc.
ABAP(on S4HANA) Programming experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience designing and developing CPI Iflows APIs from specification to implementation including strong knowledge web service HTTPS REST JDBC SFTP protocols and API constructs such as:
o REST JSON OData
o SOAP XML
o SSL certificates Keystores OAuth etc.
Process knowledge on the OTC P2P M2D FI functional areas
Good understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps & Git
Skilled in the use of API testing tools such as Postman SOAP UI or Insomnia
Experience porting SAP PI interfaces to CPI
