Job Overview

The Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead will serve as a strategic interface between business and IT for the Oracle ERP implementation team. The role involves leading functional design configuration implementation and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Finance modules. The lead will collaborate closely with business users and technical teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Functional Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new Oracle Fusion implementations.
Perform gap analysis develop solution designs and translate business requirements into optimal solutions.
Conduct business workshops and prepare functional specifications for reports extensions and integrations.
Define and drive data conversion strategies and oversee customization development.
Configure and demonstrate Oracle Fusion Finance modules to stakeholders.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) deployment and assess production readiness.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for IT plans project progress and achievements.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion ERP (Support Implementation or Upgrades).
Must have completed at least one full Oracle Cloud Financials implementation as a Functional Lead (Public Sector experience preferred).
Proven experience supporting Accounting and Finance functions within Oracle ERP.
Expertise in medium to large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
Proficient in the following Oracle Fusion Financial Modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Purchasing & Procurement
- Expenses
- Assets
- Collections
- Cash Management

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Fusion Financials Certification (Functional) is a plus.
