Subject Matter Expert - Medical Software
6 months contract hybrid
Job Purpose:The Chief Medical Officer and leadership is mandated to provide accessible safe quality and affordable country-specific healthcare to eligible employees. The team need to improve the existing medical and occupation health services and therefore need to implement integrated medical software that will replace the existing manual system and will capture occupational health patient and administrative data pharmacy inventory data and billing/accounts receivable data. The software will be interfaced and integrated to the company ERP and HR system.
Qualifications & Experience:- Educational Background:
- Diploma or Bachelors in a relevant field such as Healthcare Management Information Technology Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Healthcare IT Experience: At least 10 years of experience in healthcare technology particularly in sourcing implementing or managing medical software solutions. Certification or extensive experience in healthcare IT systems (e.g. EHR/EMR systems HIS PACS) and regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading 2-3 full-cycle software implementation projects preferably in a healthcare setting. Certifications such as PRINCE2 PMP or Agile Scrum are desirable.
- Clinical Experience (Optional):
- A background in healthcare (e.g. nursing medicine or allied health) can be an advantage especially for understanding clinical workflows.
