Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Test Analyst to join our fast-paced retail IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all testing efforts across multiple systems ensuring high-quality software delivery aligned with business requirements. This role will work closely with developers business analysts and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment contributing to the ongoing improvement of QA processes and tools within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field Essential
ISTQB CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) or equivalent Essential
ISTQB CTAL (Advanced Level Certification) or equivalent Essential
Minimum of 6 years experience as a Lead Test Analyst including experience leading testing teams Essential
Strong background in manual testing SQL for data validation and testing in Agile/Scrum environments Essential
Functional integration system and regression testing Essential
Structured testing methods and industry-standard QA processes Essential
Testing complex user interfaces across platforms Essential
Experience working in or with retail systems (POS ERP e-commerce) Preferred
Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman SoapUI etc. Advantageous
Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium QTP TestComplete Robot Framework Advantageous
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. Remedy Jira ServiceNow) Preferred
Understanding of performance testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies Preferred
