Job Summary
Special Education Teacher Middle School Resource Room (Full-Time) School Year
Location: Illinois Grade Levels: 68
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and collaborative LBS1 Instructor to join a supportive middle school team for the academic year. This full-time position focuses on providing individualized instruction and support to students within a resource room setting helping them build academic confidence and achieve personal success.
In this role youll provide targeted interventions accommodations and specialized instruction aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Youll also collaborate closely with general education teachers paraprofessionals and families to promote inclusive practices and ensure each learner receives the support needed to thrive.
Role at a Glance:
- Deliver small-group and individualized instruction in core academic areas to support IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings parent conferences and school-wide initiatives that enhance student outcomes.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum materials and modify instruction for diverse learners.
- Monitor and document student progress completing IEP updates data tracking and progress reports accurately and on time.
- Foster a structured encouraging and positive learning environment that promotes student independence and engagement.

Requirements
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.
- Experience working with middle school students and supporting mild to moderate learning needs is preferred.
