Production Operator I Responsibilities:
- Communicate production information to Line Leader and fellow Operators
- Performs all duties in a safe reliable and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader
- Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials
- Identify and record acceptable and defective products
- Assembles inspects and cleans solar modules per work instructions
- Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery
- Perform continuity testing using a meter
- Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installation
- Perform basic quality auditing testing and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
- Clean machines tools and equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Operator experience within Manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical documents manuals and instructions
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with management and other team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
- Must pass background check
