- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on State county and municipal projects.
- Conduct crash analyses and develop data-driven safety recommendations.
- Support and manage safety-focused programs and initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and coordination.
- Develop safety targets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and summary reports.
- Contribute to Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) activities and implementation.
- Review Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) assessments and performance plans.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of traffic engineering design experience.
- Preferred certifications: PE (Professional Engineer) AICP (Certified Planner) RSP (Road Safety Professional).
- Strong knowledge of safety and design standards including:
- NJ SHSP
- Highway Safety Manual (HSM)
- HSIP
- Complete Streets
- ADA Compliance
- Safe System Approach
- AASHTO MUTCD NACTO NJDOT Design Manual

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$80000 - $115000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills experience education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
