What Youll Do

As a Mammography Technologist youll perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and care ensuring a safe supportive and comfortable experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately position patients for high-quality images (70%)
  

• Perform daily QC/QA checks on mammography equipment (10%)
  

• Complete patient documentation in RIS system (10%)
  

• Identify and address scheduling or workflow issues (10%)
  

Additional Expectations:

• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked department
  

• Collaborate in a respectful fast-paced team setting
  

• Stay compliant with ACR standards and MQSA regulations
  

• Uphold the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics
  

• Proactively solve workflow challenges and contribute to improvements
  

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Mammography
  

• Florida State License
  

• MQSA-compliant (Digital & 3D Mammography)
  

• BLS Certification
  

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience preferred
  

• Proactive patient-focused and team-oriented
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients with limited mobility
  

• Frequent bending and reaching for proper positioning

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Mammography
  

• Florida State License
  

• MQSA-compliant (Digital & 3D Mammography)
  

• BLS Certification
