Then you may be our new colleague in Direct Procurement. We are looking for a Global Category Lead for one of our larges categories Utilities.

Direct Procurement is part of Direct Procurement we enable growth for Novonesis via close collaboration throughout the supply chain and across regions and by balancing value creation cost and risk - for the better of Novonesis. Direct Procurement at Novonesis is a global organization responsible for all Procurement of materials for production including raw materials packaging & utilities. We have Procurement colleagues located at Novonesis key production sites in all regions of the world including Europe Asia Pacific North Americas and South Americas.

In this role youll make an impact by:

Being responsible for Global Category Management and informally Leading/developing the Utilities category team across all regions.

Develop and implement comprehensive global category strategy.

Negotiate contracts terms and conditions to achieve value creation cost savings and mitigate risks.

Drive and foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders including operations quality sustainability finance and legal teams.

Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain such as geopolitical economic and environmental factors.

Delivering on global business targets and KPIs supporting the overall strategy and roadmap of Direct Procurement.

Deliver on future synergy opportunities.

Potentially relevant experience:
Be an experienced Global Category Lead with minimum 3 years of strategic Procurement experience combined with relevant education at master level within Business Supply Chain or relevant.

• Have experience within Biotech Food Life Science or similar regulated industries.

• Proven experience as a Global Category Lead with a track record of successful strategic Procurement.

• Have a holistic innovative and strategic mind-set.

• Be passionate about category team Procurement skill development.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal- & external stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in a complex changing and global environment.

• Expected travel days appro. 10-20 days

This job will be located at Hørsholm (Science Park) (Hybrid).
