Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in the research preparation documentation and production of all of the Companys financial filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This includes the quarterly Form 10-Qs annual Form 10-Ks and the review of other external communications involving financial information including the Companys quarterly earnings releases and Form 8-Ks. The External Reporting department ensures that the disclosures included in the Companys SEC filings are appropriate to meet SEC disclosure requirements as well as guidelines under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This person will also be part of a team working directly with our internal and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain established reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
Perform month quarter and year-end closing procedures and reporting for restructuring impairment and transaction-related charges and other areas as assigned.
Prepare monthly journal entries as a part of month-end close procedures.
Provide support to both external and internal auditors to assist in their completion of an efficient audit for the Company.
Assist in the preparation of XBRL tagging for Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks using the cloud-based platform WDesk.
Coordinate with members in corporate accounting to prepare and maintain supporting documentation for the financial statements and footnotes in the quarterly Form 10-Qs and annual Form 10-Ks.
Prepare quarterly financial statement analytics.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence
2-3 years accounting experience preferably involving a mix of public accounting and industry.
Bachelors degree with a major in accounting business administration or equivalent training.
Strong understanding ofSEC and financial reporting areas.
Self-motivated and self-directed as well as possessing strong time management and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge and skill with Excel and the ability to automate tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
CPA preferred or equivalent in India.
Big four experience preferred.
