We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Communications intern/co-op to support our People Communications Leadership Team conference. This internship/co-op offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience on a fast-paced communications team. The intern will learn about event planning creating integrated communications plans and managing social media content and administration.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of the People Comms Leadership Team conference including logistical coordination and preparation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing social media audits analyze strategies and compile findings to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of regular communications plans and collaborate with team members to create effective communication strategies.
- Draft and edit communications materials ensuring clarity and engagement for various audiences and platforms.
- Support the creation and management of social media content ensuring alignment with the organizations brand and goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks and materials.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and basic understanding of social media strategies and governance.
