Work with the Institution of Higher Education (IHEs) Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and stakeholders to develop effective sustainable and scalable systems and partnerships to positively impact the educator including teachers and administrators pipeline and educator retention.
Supervise staff
Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.
| Job Duties: |
Work cooperatively to develop facilitate and monitor effective systems based on data and research to increase the pool of effective teachers in high need Arizona schools and districts. Develop facilitate implement and monitor initiatives that support educator recruitment and retention strategies and other initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Under the direction of the Deputy Associate Superintendent for Educator Preparation Certification and Educator Recruitment and Retention supervise Recruitment and Retention staff including the K-12 Military Liaison Teacher Registered Apprenticeship Program a Data Analyst who works directly with Arizona workforce data as well as a specialist who supports statewide recruitment and retention systems in various capacities.
Coordinate and collaborate with other Student Achievement and Educator Excellence Directors as well as with other units throughout the agency.
Provide technical assistance statewide.
Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
