Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of our client a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit strong long and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime anywhere.
As an Engineering Manager in the Media Engineering team youll lead talented engineers responsible for developing software that powers next-generation fitness products. Working at the intersection of hardware and software youll help deliver engaging high-performance user experiences across the companys flagship devices. Youll manage a multidisciplinary team collaborate with experts in design product and hardware and drive initiatives that improve both engineering efficiency and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers building customer engagement features for connected fitness products.
- Foster a culture of learning transparency and performance-based growth.
- Conduct regular team meetings 1:1s and performance reviews to support development goals.
- Define measurable team KPIs and monitor delivery quality and efficiency.
Technical & Product Collaboration
- Partner with Product Design and Program Management to deliver on quarterly and annual roadmaps.
- Ensure timely high-quality delivery of embedded and full-stack features.
- Promote engineering best practicesautomation reusability and design pattern adoption.
- Identify and resolve cross-functional blockers to maintain team momentum.
Engineering Excellence
- Drive CI/CD integration testing automation and scalable delivery pipelines.
- Encourage innovation and experimentation with new technologies.
- Maintain balance between technical depth and product priorities.
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences to align strategy and execution.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- 8 years of professional software development experience (mobile backend API or embedded systems).
- Proven track record of deploying full-stack applications commercially (e.g. App Store).
- Familiarity with CI/CD test automation and Agile methodologies.
Leadership Experience
- 4 years in a technical management or team lead role.
- Strong people management skills with experience in mentoring and performance coaching.
- Skilled at balancing business and engineering priorities through collaboration and transparency.
