Brunswick Group is seeking a director with strong financial communications expertise and deep experience advising clients in the Technology Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector. This individual will play a significant role in delivering high-impact strategic advice to senior executives and boards while supporting the growth of our TMT and financial communications practices.

About the Role
- Serve as a senior counsellor to clients providing strategic financial communications advice on capital markets activity financial results M&A shareholder activism and other complex financial situations.
- Lead day-to-day client engagement for TMT sector accounts drawing on deep knowledge of industry trends established networks in the sector and understanding of investor priorities and regulatory considerations.
- Manage teams to deliver high-quality insight-driven work across financial corporate and crisis communications mandates.
- Build trusted relationships with CEOs CFOs IR leads and senior communications executives.
- Drive new business opportunities by identifying growth areas contributing to pitches and deepening relationships within the TMT sector.
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Contribute thought leadership on emerging issues affecting the TMT industry.
What Were Looking For
- Proven track record (10 years) of advising senior executives on financial communications investor relations or capital markets engagement.
- Strong background in TMT with direct experience advising companies in technology media or telecommunications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects under pressure and deliver clear strategic and actionable advice.
- Wide ranging and dynamic network across the industry media and sector participants
- Exceptional writing presentation and analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of the investor landscape equity markets and financial disclosure requirements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business development.
- Collaborative leadership style with experience developing and managing diverse teams.
