Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Events:Organize and lead daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives using JIRA and Confluence.
Guide the Team:Support the development team in adhering to Scrum practices and principles ensuring the team remains focused on their goals.
Optimize Tools:Manage and optimize JIRA and Confluence to support Agile processes and improve team efficiency.
Remove Impediments:Identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the teams progress.
Foster Collaboration:Promote a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team and with stakeholders utilizing Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
Continuous Improvement:Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team helping them to identify and implement process enhancements.
Stakeholder Management:Work closely with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency regarding project goals and progress.
Mentorship:Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Agile and Scrum practices as well as effective use of JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications:

Experience:Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment with strong proficiency in JIRA and Confluence. (must have skill)
Certification:Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
Skills:Strong understanding of Agile methodologies excellent communication and leadership skills ability to manage multiple priorities and a problem-solving mindset.
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field preferred.

Notes:

- hybrid - 2-3 times in the Brampton office

-may be required to work overtime if there is a project -will be notified ahead of time
