Job Summary
Days and Shift Information
Full-time Monday through Friday. Typical business hours with occasional flexibility required to meet client and carrier needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan optimize route and schedule shipments across all transportation modes using the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Consolidate client orders into efficient load plans and assign appropriate carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Serve as the primary daily contact for assigned client(s) resolving shipping issues responding to inquiries and ensuring on-time pick-up and delivery.
Negotiate carrier rates for non-contracted lanes (spot quoting) and make financially sound decisions on behalf of the client.
Monitor carrier performance documentation and invoicing; recommend corrective actions to resolve service or performance concerns.
Work Environment
Office-based role with a high degree of collaboration across teams and with external carriers and clients. Fast-paced deadline-driven environment requiring multitasking and proactive communication.
Qualifications :
Education
Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in transportation logistics or supply chain.
At least 1 year in a customer service or transportation planning role.
Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.

Pay / Benefits / Perks
Pay rate: $55000
Paid Time Off: Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year; two weeks of vacation plus one week of PTO accrued upon first anniversary.
