Associate Consultant, Environment

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and implementation of field investigations including air soil soil vapor surface water sediment and groundwater sampling programs under a variety of regulatory frameworks
• Conducting field inspections/environmental assessments of industrial and commercial properties
• Assist with remediation system design installation and/or operations and maintenance monitoring
• Evaluate analytical and field data
• Assist with environmental permitting and compliance
• Assist in preparing written proposals cost estimates and technical reports
• Conduct Phase I/II environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial properties in conjunction with real estate transactions or mergers & acquisitions

Qualifications :

As our new Environmental Consultant you will be working closely with Project Managers and other Consultants on a variety of environmental investigation/remediation environmental compliance health and safety sustainability and due diligence projects within our broad Environment and Health practice. • At least a bachelors degree in Environmental Science Geology or other related Earth Science discipline from an accredited institution and 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Technical skills/experience in ArcGIS statistical analysis Power BI modeling programs etc. considered a plus
• Sampling experience
• Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30% average over the year and possess a valid drivers license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state. Travel duration may range from 1-10 days depending upon the specific requirements of each project.
• The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing stooping kneeling crouching crawling reaching standing/sitting/walking pushing/pulling and lifting up to 40 certain situations this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles electrical current and exposure to chemicals. Employees may be required to take specific training and to wear PPE on some occasions.

Salary Transparency Statement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $56000 to $79000 annually and does not include bonuses overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge skillsand experience.
