Population Health FacultyJob Duties Outlined:
Maintain an ongoing program of research and training with external funding appropriate to expertise.
Collaborate with other faculty members via interdisciplinary research teams.
Teach and participate in graduate courses and curriculum development.
Participate in the intellectual life of KUCC the Department and School of Medicine e.g. faculty committees and activities.
Provide other services to the school university profession and community as appropriate.

Required Qualifications
Education: Doctorate or equivalent with training in a population health field (e.g. nursing medicine or public health; health-related behavioral or social sciences).
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements institutional standards of academic and professional excellence alignment with peer institution benchmarks and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Work Experience:
Demonstrate research focus in Cancer Prevention and Control as above.
Experience with extramural funding via participation in recent grants and/or contracts appropriate to rank.
Experience working with scholarships in peer-reviewed publications appropriate to rank.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in principal investigator status.
Experience in team science implementation science and/or translational science.
Experience supervising and mentoring doctoral students.
