The Inn at Atlantic Heights offers a choice of 64 Assisted-Living Apartments featuring companion suites studios one and two bedrooms all with the comforts of home. Under the ownership of First Atlantic Healthcare The Inn at Atlantic Heights follows in First Atlantics long standing reputations for excellence.
This position requires some short-order breakfast cooking and service. Light lunch meal preparation and service of the lunch meal. Other light prep work and cleaning and sanitation required on each shift. Work one weekend and have the next weekend off. Rotates from there. Shift is from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Working for a Maineowned company while taking care of Maine people our Cooks work with a busyDietary Services team to prepare appetizing and healthful food based on thenutrition and health needs of our Residents.
Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
- Review menus priorto preparation of food
- Inspect specialdiet trays to assure they are correct
- Preparation cookingand service of a variety of foods
- General cleaningup of kitchen
- Dispose of foodand waste in accordance with established policies
- Coordinatedietary service with other departments as necessary
- Assist in standardizingthe methods in which work will be accomplished
- Assure that foodand supplies for the meal are readily available
Requirements:
Education: Associates degree preferred notrequired
Experience: Two years related food service experience
Leadership: Position may need leadership skills and experience if supervisingstaff
Excellent communications skills written and verbal
